WALT COOPER
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
As the CEO of Precision Health Solutions, Walt provides the strategic vision, leadership, and organizational guidance that drives the company’s growth and service expansion. He is also the Chairman of the Board and CEO of SozosHealth Corporation. Both companies are involved in pharmacogenomics and personalized medicine.
Prior to joining PHS, Walt served as President and CEO of Matrix Medical Networks in Scottsdale, AZ from 2013 to 2019. Under Walt’s leadership, Matrix expanded into new solutions and markets. Building on the company’s leading in-home and mobile services platform, Matrix enjoys the market leader position in the industry and provides a series of in-home care and ongoing support services that impact and improve the care of more than 3,000 health plan members every day.
BILL BARR
Co-Founder & President
As the President and Chief Operating Officer of Precision Health Solutions, Bill provides the day-to-day operational leadership and decision-making that drive the company’s profit and loss success.
Prior to joining PHS, Bill served as Vice President of Business Development of PrevMed, a dental provider serving the long-term care industry. In this position, Bill managed all sales and account management activities of the executives serving seven states. Prior to PrevMed, Bill founded Sten-Barr Medical in 1995. Sten-Barr served the long-term and acute care markets providing Specialty Beds, Bariatric, and Respiratory equipment. Starting in Tampa, FL, Sten-Barr grew to 70 locations serving 46 states. Bill served as Chief Executive Officer providing leadership and vision in a constantly changing environment. Sten-Barr was sold in 2007.
DR. FATEMEH MOUSAVI
Medical Director
Dr. Mousavi obtained her medical degree in 1993. Upon graduation, she spent one year employed as an assistant professor of medicine at the University. She then went on to serve as Chief of the Emergency Department.
Dr. Mousavi trained at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami (“JMH/UM”) in the field of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency program at JMH/UM. She was elected as Chief Resident by her program director and she completed her residency in 2006. Dr. Mousavi then completed a fellowship in cytopathology at JMH/UM. She has been employed primarily as an Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist at several hospital-affiliated pathology laboratories and has been licensed to practice as a physician in the State of Florida since 2005.
MARTY SNOW
Chief Financial Officer
Marty Smith is the Chief Financial Officer at Precision Health Solutions. Prior to joining PHS, Marty was the Senior Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis at WellCare Health Plans (now Centene Corporation). He also was the Assistant Company Controller at Eckerd Drugs.
EVAN SMITH
Vice President of Business Development & Sales
As the Vice President of Business Development and Sales at Precision Health Solutions, Evan is focused on organizational strategic growth, overseeing new business, client success and sales operations.
Prior to joining PHS, Evan worked in the post-acute space managing Home Health and Hospice Sales for 2 national organizations, Encompass Home Health and AccentCare. Prior to post-acute, Evan was in Sales and a Operations Manager for Nestle Waters North America, conducting and overseeing all route and logistical operations, across the Greater Tampa Bay community.
Originally from New England, Evan earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Business Administration from Gordon College in Massachusetts.
BRIGITTE GUNST
Laboratory Administrator & General Supervisor
Brigitte Ordonez Gunst, MS, MTS (AAB), is the Laboratory Administrator and General Supervisor at Precision Health Solutions. Brigitte received her Master's Degree in Molecular Diagnostic Sciences from George Washington University. She worked as a medical laboratory technologist for 9 years at John Hopkins All Children's Hospital. Brigitte has a supervisor license in chemistry, hematology, immunology, immunohematology, molecular pathology and microbiology.
MELISSA SMITH, PHARMD, CPH
Vice President of Pharmacy
Dr. Melissa Smith, PharmD, CPH, is the Vice President of Pharmacy for Precision Health Solutions. In her role with PHS, it is her mission to provide expertise in Pharmacogenomics (PGx) while working with prescribers to help deliver a comprehensive patient-centered evaluation of medication therapies to improve patient outcomes and save precious time for prescribers.
Prior to joining PHS, Dr. Melissa was the Vice President of Clinical Services for ClarityX. In 2021, she founded Florida PGx Consulting, LLC, where she has been contributing to the development of personalized medication solutions to provide patients access to a Pharmacist online that can help with medication selection using genetics as a guide. In 2018, Dr. Melissa was a Pharmacy Manager with CVS Health and successfully assisted CVS with setting up one of its on-site COVID testing operations at a CVS store location in Tampa, Florida. With her experience in community and corporate pharmacy settings, she has honed her skills and expertise in the pharmaceutical industry.
She earned her Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida (USF) in 2009. She achieved her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Regis School of Pharmacy in 2016.
BARBARA MATSUMOTO
Vice President of Human Resources
Barbara Matsumoto, SHRM -SCP, SPHR, is the Vice President of Human Resources for Precision Health Solutions. Barbara has over 20 years of experience as an HR Practitioner. She has served on the board of HR Tampa and on the HR Florida Board of Directors. Barbara has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, where she obtained a Six Sigma green belt and has championed education through co-op, apprenticeship, and student mentoring programs. Barbara has also worked in the Mental Health and Medical industries. She has promoted community involvement through several different charities.
CHRISTINE COOPER
Market President
Christine Cooper is the Market President at Precision Health Solutions. She is based at our satellite office in Nashville, TN. Her responsibilities include management of PHS's national marketing initiatives and communication strategies, growth of the direct-to-consumer brand, DiscoverHealth, and oversight of the Tennessee Market. Prior to joining PHS, Christine was at Tivity Health, formerly Healthways, on the strategic growth team. While at Tivity Health, Christine primarily focused on transformative growth through strategic operations and marketing initiatives that led to achieving company-wide objectives that aligned with revenue scalability. Christine earned her Bachelor's in Integrated Marketing Communications with Business Administration and Entrepreneurship Minor while at The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in Oxford, MS.
